Power output emphasized

Car subwoofers that emphasize power output have become the new product pursuit for mainland China makers in the car accessories line.

Interviewed suppliers cited decreasing profits, shrinking aftermarket and intensifying competition as reasons for the R&D shift. Such products are classified as midrange and high-end units with at least 300W rms power output, with some as high as 500W.

Jiaxing Jinlida Electron Co. Ltd’s newly launched models JLD12 and XTL12 target the high-end market, especially in Europe. The maker’s six-member R&D department took two months to develop each model, including one month to design a new mold. The XTL12 has a 2.5in 4-layer CCAW voice coil, 450W rms power and 88dB SPL. The JLD12 has a 3in 4-layer AL/EI voice coil for 500W rms power and 86dB SPL. Both units have a diecast aluminum frame.

Car digital power amplifier has 4x60W rms power output

China (mainland) – Jiaxing Jinlida Electron Co. Ltd’s AD 460 is a 4ch car digital power amplifier.

The model has a power output of 4x60W rms at 4ohms and bridge-mode power of 2x150W rms at 4ohms. Its THD is less than 1 percent at 4ohms, A-weighted S/N ratio is more than 90dB and input sensitivity is 0.15V to 3V.

The AD 460’s frequency response range is from 20Hz to 20kHz and low pass frequency range is from 30Hz to 80kHz

The car amplifier measures 208x226x52mm.
